About College
Situated around 1.5 kilometers from Siwan Railway Jn, the Z.H. Unani Medical College & Hospital is situated on the bank of the Daha River in the northwest of Siwan town. It covers an area of five acres. The campus has plenty of room to grow in the future.The college was founded in 1979 and subsequently associated with B. R. Ambedkar Bihar University in Muzaffarpur after receiving approval and affiliation from the Bihar government by letter No. 55/85-4(3) dated 18.06.85 and O.607/D.C. dated 14.08.84. (As a result, it is associated with B.R. Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur); it is also acknowledged by the Ministry of Health, F.W. Delhi, the Central Council of Indian Medicine, and the Ministry of Health Government of Bihar.
This college was founded by the late Zulfequar Haider, who had the lofty goal of promoting the Unani medical system. This establishment is officially recognized as a society run under Act No. 52/82-83. Every one of our former students is now well-established in government agencies, and a few even run their own clinics and hospitals. Twelve departments make up the college; seven of those departments are operating at full capacity in accordance with CCIMM standards.the college that accepts 50 students.
There is a large Anatomy Museum/Dissection Hall at the college. The departments of physiology, immunochemistry, pharmacy, pathology, forensic medicine, preventive and social medicine, and toxicology are all well-equipped.
