About College
A division of the Hahnemann Homoeopathic Medical Trust, Venkateswara Homoeopathic Medical College was established in 1994. With the express intent of bringing homoeopathy to a wider audience, our founder and chairman, Er.V.K. Arumugam, founded Venkateswara Homoeopathic Hospital in 1995. At a very reasonable price, the services of highly skilled and knowledgeable physicians as well as imported homoeopathic medications were made available.
In 2000, Venkateswara Homoeopathic Medical College was founded with the aspirational goal of producing competent, qualified, and self-assured homoeopathic graduates. Situated in a picturesque setting directly across from Porur Lake, the college has a prime location in Porur, Chennai.
One of this institution’s main strengths is its highly skilled and knowledgeable faculty. Their innovative teaching methods, which include personalized attention, audiovisual aids (such as an LCD projector and microphone) in every classroom, and a student-friendly approach guarantee academic excellence—all of which contribute to our extraordinary success record in university exams.
In order to give students and interns the opportunity to hear professionals and experts discuss their experiences and showcase cases of their knowledge, the institution also often hosts seminars, CME programs, and training programs. Every month, a seminar is organized by one of the twelve departments in turn. The lectures are made even more engaging and beneficial by the air-conditioned auditorium, which is equipped with a cutting-edge audiovisual system and current sound equipment.
