Founded in 1973, Takhatmal Shri Vallabh Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital is a private college located in Amravati. The college has 100 seats available each year and is associated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, Maharashtra.
Situated in the center of Amravati is the college. Its constructed area is approximately 40,000 square feet, but its own area is roughly 16000 square feet. It features an adjacent medical building for training purposes, a main college building for academic purposes, and a dormitory facility for students—preferably girls from distant places—who need housing. The college is about two kilometers from the train station and bus stop, and it is next to NH-6.
The five and a half-year Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery program includes a mandatory internship lasting one year. The Central Council of Homoeopathy and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences have duly recognized this course, allowing the student to practice homoeopathy anywhere in India.
