About College
In 1956, Raipur Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital was founded. A recognized society called the Raipur Homoeopathic & Biochemic Association (reg. no. 537) is in charge of the college. Throughout the last 54 years, the institution has provided homoeopathic education, showing remarkable progress and a distinguished history.
With its own building and hospital located in the center of the city, it is the first and oldest homoeopathic medical college in the state of Madhya Pradesh (now known as Chhattisgarh State). With an annual intake of 50 seats, the college is associated with Ayush University of Chhattisgarh and Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences.
During the academic year 1998–1999, the college provided the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (B.H.M.S.) degree program, which has a five and a half-year duration and requires a year of mandatory internship training. Accredited by the Central Health Ministry, the Department of AYUSH, the Indian government, Pt. Ravishanker Shukla University in Raipur, the Central Council of Homoeopathy in New Delhi, and the government of Chhattisgarh.
