About College
Hospital and Purushottam Das Bagla Homeopathic Medical College. The college opened in the Arwat Ta. & Dist. Chandrapur area in 1973–1974 and offered the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery program. The college is associated with Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik, and is approved by the Maharashtra government. The Bombay Board began offering the D.H.M.S. diploma degree in 1974, while the B.H.M.S. undergrad program began in 1988–1989 sessions. We are the first to offer the aforementioned B. H. M. S. course to students from the Gadchiroli and Chandrapur districts’ tribal and underprivileged areas.
After completing the final B.H.M.S. examination, students will complete a one-year mandatory rotatory internship as part of their five and a half-year B.H.M.S. degree program. If the candidate hasn’t worked as an intern for the required amount of time and to the satisfaction of the institution head in a hospital that the university has recognized, they won’t be awarded the B.H.M.S. degree.
Every student must complete a four-year academic program of certified study, which runs from the date of enrolment in the subjects that make up the Homoeopathic curriculum as established by the Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi, until the date of the examination’s completion, which is followed by a one-year mandatory rotational internship training program.
