Founded in 1962, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru State Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital is a government college located in Kanpur. With an annual intake of 50 seats, the college is associated with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra, situated in Uttar Pradesh.
At the moment, the college provides graduate-level courses in homeopathy that last five years and six months, divided into one year of required rotating internship training and four and a half years of classroom instruction. After completing the internship satisfactorily, the student must register with the appropriate state boards, utilize the suffix B.H.M.S., and prefix their name with “Dr.”
Numerous rare and carefully chosen books on homoeopathic medicine and other related medical topics may be found in the college library. Prominent medical periodicals are also routinely subscribed to. In order to keep the library current and to fulfill the rising needs of the staff and students, many new volumes are added. A book bank is accessible to students.
Students are given separate residential rooms at PJNMC. Additionally, all necessary conveniences are offered.
