About College
Founded in 1976, Lord Mahavira Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital is a private college located in Ludhiana. With a yearly intake of 80 seats, the College is associated with the Punjabi Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, situated in Faridkot.
The Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), a five and a half-year degree program in homoeopathy, is offered by Lord Mahavira Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital. The BHMS curriculum will last approximately four and a half years, including an obligatory internship of one year. There are eighty places available for BHMS in total.
Library: The library block has tile floors, is air-conditioned, well-ventilated, and has enough electrical outlets. Of particular note are the executive synthetic chairs for sitting and the sun-mica polished tables for reading. Staff personnel and students have separate reading rooms accessible. The library’s books are all arranged in a steel almarah, categorized according to subject, in a single hall that also has reading room amenities. The book store has steel almarah/cupboards with glass doors.
