Established in 1995, Kashmir Tibia College, Hospital & Research Centre (KTCHRC) was formerly known as the New Kashmir Educational Society (NKES), an independent non-profit educational organization. The College is connected to Jammu & Kashmir’s University of Kashmir. Under the J&K Societies Registration Act, New Kashmir Educational Society, a registered society, is responsible for managing Kashmir Tibbia College, Hospital & Research Center. The Society’s Head Office can be found in Saida Kadal, Srinagar.

Auditorium: A well-equipped auditorium with 300 seats and cutting-edge audio and video capabilities is being built to host a variety of events and support student activities. The auditorium’s facilities are used for a variety of events, including conferences, seminars, symposia, EC activities, guest lectures, orientation programs, goodbye parties, and other cultural gatherings.

Library: The College has made available a central library with over 10,000 books and a sufficient quantity of journals. This library has all of the most recent editions of books, both for text and reference. Additionally, it subscribes to a number of newspapers and magazines to be informed and up to speed on current events. We also subscribe to national and international journals covering every aspect of medicine. The 130 square meter library can accommodate 50 students for reading in its reading sections. More specialized book, journal, and periodical collections for certain subjects are available at the faculties’ and departments’ libraries.

Hospital: In order to assist female students who would like to use the hostel accommodations, Kashmir Tibbia College, Hospital & Research Centre (KTCHRC) has partnered with Madr-e-Meharban Women’s Hostels, Miskeen Bagh Khanyar, Srinagar. Additionally, the college is negotiating and working with hostels to make accommodations for guys more readily available. The hostels have a limited number of seats, which are made available by the hostel authorities on a first-come, first-served basis when the necessary hostel fee is deposited.
