About College
In Shiroda, Goa, there is a medical institution called Shri Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical institution. It is the first and only institute in the State of Goa, recognized by the Goan government, and it is associated with the benefits of Goa University. Additionally, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of AYUSH, Government of India, and the Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi, both recognize it.
The college’s infrastructure is excellent and is supported by every department. The hospital and college are connected for clinical education. To better serve the public, a distinct outpatient division and an inpatient department are operational.
The College engages in a number of research projects in addition to publishing the quarterly Indian Journal of Applied Homoeopathy. Numerous early homoeopaths hold positions as visiting professors. The college promoted homoeopathy by holding a number of lectures and exhibitions. The college student council engaged in a range of social events.
A letter of authorization is given to Shri Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital Shiroda, Goa by the Department of AYUSH, New Delhi, to continue admissions in the I-BHMS course for the 2019–20 academic year, with a 50 seat intake capacity.
