About College
Tamil Nadu’s first and biggest BNYS college, JSS Institute of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, or JSSINYS, is the second-biggest in India. This institute was founded in 1997 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, by JSSMVP, Mysuru, with the goal of providing top-notch instruction in yoga and naturopathy.
Situated on 55 acres of verdant fields and forested areas is the college campus. The college admits 100 students a year and is associated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University in Chennai. It provides a 5-and-a-half-year Bachelor of Yogic Sciences and Naturopathy program (BNYS). Plans are underway to launch MD-Yoga, MD-Naturopathy, MD-Acupuncture, and MD-Energy Medicine.
The hospital, together with the college, is renowned for its clinical care, education, and research in naturopathy and yoga. Numerous college alums have had a lasting impact on naturopathy and yoga thanks to their clinical proficiency, compassionate demeanor, and capacity for research.
The college takes pride in its multiculturalism and student variety, with between 30 and 40 percent of its students being from outside Tamil Nadu. In addition, JSSINYS stands out for its advanced infrastructure, experienced and senior teachers, and rigorous and innovative curriculum.
