One of the most well-known homoeopathic colleges in Maharashtra is H.E.S. Homoeopathic Medical College in Akola. Founded in 1954, the college is sometimes referred to as HES Homoeopathic College Akola. This renowned BHMS College in Akola has been approved by the Central Council of Indian Homoeopathy and is associated with the Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik.
A substantial collection of works on homoeopathy and related medical topics is kept in the college library. The journals, magazines, newspapers, and periodicals in the library are well-stocked. The college offers lecture halls, seminar halls, sports facilities, conference halls, canteens, well-equipped classrooms, and medical services.
The Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), a five and a half-year degree program in homoeopathy, is offered by Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital. The BHMS curriculum will last approximately four and a half years, including an obligatory internship of one year. There are fifty places available for BHMS in total.
