About College
The Homoeopathic Medical College of the H.K.E. Society was founded in 1980. The Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and Doctor of Medicine in Homoeopathy (M.D.(Hom)) degrees are awarded after completing three years of post-graduate coursework and undergraduate studies, respectively. The Central Council of Homoeopathy New Delhi recognizes the BHMS and MD (Hom) degrees granted by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Karnataka Bangalore, and these degrees are listed in the second schedule.
The Homoeopathic Medical College of H.K.E. Society is the first college in Karnataka to offer undergraduate (BHMS) and graduate (M.D. (Hom)) degree programs. It is the first organization to join the university as an associate. It is among the most advanced and well-equipped establishments. This institution’s mission is to provide homoeopathic education and research opportunities. Its goal is to create an educated homoeopath with a thorough understanding of homoeopathy’s principles and enough practical application experience. The hospital that is affiliated with this establishment began with 50 beds and has since been expanded to 75. The hospital features dedicated wards for pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, medicine, and surgery, among other specialties.It has features including an auto analyzer, X-ray, ECG, and more. Boys’ and girls’ separate hostels with solar water heaters, filtered drinking water heaters, and phone facilities are offered. College campus canteen and hostel mess facilities. has 24-hour security for both the college campus and the hostel. The college boasts a well-stocked library run by a professional librarian and plenty of employees. The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Karnataka’s HELINET consortium of Digital Library offers e-books and e-journals. Subscriptions are available for almost all Homoeopathic periodicals published in England and India.
