Established in 2000, the Government Homoeopathic Medical College, Kadapa is a government college with 30 yearly admission seats that is affiliated with Dr. NTRUHS University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, in Andhra Pradesh.
The five and a half-year Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) program is offered by this college. After completing 10+2, students can enroll in this course with a Bi. P.C. group. To be admitted, they must receive 50% of the possible points in the National Common Entrance/Eligibility Test (NEET), with consideration given to their rank.upon counseling at DR. NTR University of Health Sciences, the candidates will be assigned to this college and granted admission to the course upon verification and the payment of a one-time, modest fee for all original certificates. Once the four and a half years of coursework are finished, there will be a one-year internship in the adjacent Teaching Hospital. They will receive a stipend of Rs 8000/-per month for this year, with the possibility of an increase every two years contingent on government policy.
Furthermore, the government introduced postgraduate courses in Organon & Philosophy and Homoeopathic Pharmacy at this college following the split of the States. As a result, the college is offering three-year P.G. courses in homoeopathic philosophy and homoeopathic pharmacy. After BHMS, students can pursue this course. To get admitted, they must receive 50% of the possible points in the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Entrance Test (APGET), with reference to their rank. upon counseling at DR. NTR University of Health Sciences, the candidates will be assigned to this college and granted admission to the course upon verification and the payment of a one-time, modest fee for all original certificates. Six candidates were selected for the first batch, which consisted of three intakes for each degree during the academic year 2016–17. The pass rate was 90% after one year, counting both the first and second years. They will get the following stipend over these three years, which may be increased once every two years in accordance with government policy at any moment.
