About College
The first graduate homoeopathic medical college in Asia was Government Homoeopathic Medical College in Kozhikode. It is approved by CCH and connected to the KERALA UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES.Up till 2010, it had ties to the University of Calicut. There is a hospital at the college. The college was established in 1976 after purchasing a palace in Karaparamba, Kozhikode, which had belonged to the manager of the Pearce Leslie Cashew Factory under the British Raj.
Women and I can stay at the college’s hostels (but only during normal classes). various buildings house various types of hostel accommodations for men and women. Unless the principal grants an exception on the grounds that the student is living with their parents or guardians, students must reside in the hostels. People who disobey the hostel’s policies will be kicked out of the establishment.
The college offers an e-learning center and a well-stocked library. Approximately 10,000 medical books and numerous periodicals are available at the library, which will be beneficial for the curriculum. It has a peaceful, well-equipped reading room with an environment. The E-learning Center is a library feature that allows students to utilize the internet for educational purposes.
