About College
Founded in 2006–07, Eram Unani Medical College & Hospital is a private college located in Lucknow. With an annual intake of 60 seats, the college is associated with Uttar Pradesh’s Shri Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur.
The Central Council of Indian Medicine recognizes Eram Unani Medical College & Hospital, Kursi Road, Lucknow, which is also affiliated with Chhatarpati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. Under the auspices of Eram Educational Society, the college offers B U. M. S. (Kamil-e-Tib-o-Jarahat) students Unani medicine and surgery education in accordance with courses duly approved by C.C.I.M. Students from all around the nation and beyond are welcome to apply here, regardless of their sexual orientation, race, religion, caste, or faith.
The college does research in this area in addition to teaching unani medicine and surgery. The Unani medical system’s foundational theories and principles, such as logic, philosophy, and the history of the discipline, as well as contemporary medical approaches to the study of physiology, preventive and social medicine, pharmacology, pathology, bacterium, anatomy, toxicology, bedside clinics, medical jurisprudence, and other topics, are to be thoroughly taught to the students.
The College has a large, well-kept library housed in a beautifully decorated hall. Under the direction of a qualified librarian, the same is running with about 4,000 books. For the benefit of both professors and students, medical dictionaries and other medical journals also promote it.
