About College
Singh, Dr. R. B. The visionary Dr. Ram Balak Singh, a seasoned homoeopath, founded the Gaya Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital in 1967 in order to provide further opportunities for instruction in classical homoeopathy following his official training in the field. His efforts paid off when the GHMCH was established in the picturesque Amawan area on the banks of the NIRANJANA river, just next to the district headquarters of the Gaya district in Bihar. Amawan is situated next to Bodh-Gaya, the site where the Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.
The Central Council of Homoeopathy, located in New Delhi, has recognized the society that governs Dr. RBSGHMCH and it was registered under the Society Registration Act. Additionally, it is approved by the Indian government’s Department of AYUSH, which is affiliated with B.R. Ambedkar Bihar University in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
