Founded in 2002, the Dr. M.L.Dhawale Memorial Homeopathic Institute is a private college located in Palghar. With an annual intake of 36 seats, the college is associated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, which is situated in Maharashtra.
The enormous amount of work that the late Dr. M. L. Dhawale accomplished serves as a motivation for the Dr. M L Dhawale Memorial Homoeopathic Institute (MLDMHI), Palghar. He was a renowned homoeopath with international recognition. Developing a Standardized Approach to Clinical Practice (a common practice in all Institutes of Excellence worldwide), Case-based Integrated Teaching and Training (a sound pedagogy in all Postgraduate Education), and the Principle of Tri-coordinate Care—where the teacher is a facilitator and is able to demonstrate the care for Knowledge by caring for the Patient and the Learner (student)—were the three cardinal principles upon which he based his work.
