Founded in 2000–01, Dr. Hahnemann Homeopathic Medical College & Research Centre is a private college located in Namakkal. With an annual intake of 100 seats, the college is associated with Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, which is situated in Tamilnadu.
The library has 3675 medical books in addition to 21 subscription periodicals and all of their previous publications. The college boasts a well-stocked library run by a professional librarian and enough employees. Male and female students have their own reading spaces, and there is a staff reading area with a computer lab and internet access. At any given time, the library can hold up to 100 pupils. Prominent and enlightening Indian homoeopathic journals are subscribed to and made available to students for educational purposes.
The Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), a five and a half-year degree program in homoeopathy, is offered by Dr. Hahnemann Homeopathic Medical College & Research Center. The BHMS curriculum will last approximately four and a half years, including an obligatory internship of one year. There are one hundred seats available for BHMS. The college also provides a graded course for external candidates in addition to conventional B.H.M.S. (Graded Degree) courses.
