Founded in 1971, Dhondumama Sathe Homeopathic Medical College is a private college located in Pune. With an annual intake of 109 seats, the college is associated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, which is situated in Maharashtra. A ladies’ hostel is available on the campus of Dhondumama Sathe Homoeopathic Medical College. The hostel boasts a lovely campus that is encircled by greenery.
Famous social worker Late Shri. Dhondumama Sathe founded the Maharashtra Technical Education Society Pune (MTES) in 1945. In order for the young people of the country to become true value pillars of the country, he had a vision for providing them with educational opportunities.
The college offers a 5.5-year degree program in homoeopathy that culminates in a bachelor’s degree in homoeopathic medicine and surgery (B.H.M.S.).
This degree consists of four exams and a required one-year rotating internship.
A substantial collection of works on homoeopathy and related medical topics is kept in the college library. The journals, magazines, newspapers, and periodicals in the library are well-stocked. The college offers lecture halls, seminar halls, sports facilities, conference halls, canteens, well-equipped classrooms, and medical services.
One of the best schools in the nation for teaching students homoeopathy is MTES’s DSHMC. This college has produced numerous well-known homoeopathic figures.
