About College
Founded in 1992, Allama Iqbal Unani Medical College is a private institution located in Muzaffarnagar. With an annual intake of 40 seats, the college is associated with Uttar Pradesh’s Shri Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur.
The College is fortunate to have a full-fledged hospital with state-of-the-art amenities to serve the community. The College is dedicated to providing high-quality instruction in the Unani System of Medicine.
Over the course of its brief existence—roughly 13 years—the college has produced multiple batches of institutionally competent Unani medical practitioners.
The College owns a structure and land of its own. There are approximately 40,000 square feet of covered space in the College building and around 82,000 square feet of exposed space. The college building has multiple classrooms, a staff room, a library, an OPD, a hospital, labs, a dissection hall, and a separate playground. In accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (Government of India), New Delhi, every department is outfitted with the most up-to-date amenities and basic facilities.
The University provides Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery, or B.U.M.S. + 1 Year (Internship) = 4½ Years
Classes-Intake: Undergraduate: 60 seats annually PG: Five seats in Kulliyat Umoore Tabiya; five seats in Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tibb
