Al-Arif Unani Medical College, located at Hyderabad Telangana. this colleges in Telangana is affiliated to the KNR university of health science, Telangana approved by central council of Indian medicines.
The institutional campus is spread in a 5 acres of land comprising Hospital and College buildings situated on an ideal location with all sorts of amenities like pleasant atmosphere laded with greenery, computerized fully furnished Out-Patients and In-Patients Departments, exceptionally well equipped Operation Theatre, spacious In-patients Wards, upgraded Pathological Laboratory, X-Ray Plant, fully ventilated and spacious Classrooms to accommodate more than 100 students, Auditorium to accommodate 200 people, hygienic, well-equipped, well-furnished and fully ventilated Anatomy, Physiology Labs, experienced and qualified expert Unani and Modern Specialist Doctors, Qualified teaching faculties with extensive teaching experience, spacious and digitalized Library with 2000 books exclusively for 1st year Anatomy, Physiology and Kulliyat subjects, with all sorts of transport facilities and many more unique characteristic features.
The idea of establishment of this college evolved in the society since a long time as BUMS (5½ years Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery) is the only professional course throughout India wherein the poor, especially Urdu Medium students, after completion of 10+2 biological science with Urdu Medium or Urdu as a subject, finds a ray of hope to become a Doctor, a Gazetted Officer and hold a respectable and financially stable position in the society.
The society has left no stone unturned to establish a Unani Medical College under Private sector, which was need of the hour, and to make it a Model college of the country with an intake capacity of 100 seats wherein the students should not only gain the best of Unani Medical knowledge but also will be well trained in Modern Medicine and extensive Research orientation to meet the scientific advancements of today and in future.
