About College
As-salam, Nandurba and Jamia’s Ahmad Garib Unani Medical College are the only two colleges of their sort in the state of Maharashtra. The Central Council of Indian Medicine, (CCIM) in New Delhi’s curriculum and syllabus are followed by the college for teaching the KAMIL-E-TIB-O-JARAHAT (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) program.
It was founded in 1997 with the intention of making the Indian System of Medicine’s research and education more widely known. The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in Nashik and the Central Council of Indian Medicine in New Delhi, along with the Maharashtra government, have accredited this college.
Concerning Hospital
Ahmad Garib Unani Medical College and As-Salam Hospital are affiliated with the aim of providing students with training in outpatient and indoor patient care across multiple departments. In accordance with the guidelines of the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in Nashik and the Central Council of Indian Medicine in New Delhi, the hospital has 60 beds in its inpatient section.
Major and minor operation rooms in the hospital are air-conditioned and tastefully furnished. A skilled and experienced surgeon is doing the operations.
There is a labor room with good furnishings and equipment available.
