About College
In Gujarat, Dr. V.H. Dave Homoeopathic Medical College has traditionally been the leading institution for homoeopathy promotion. Gujarat Homoeopathic Society was founded on November 30, 1970, by Dr. V. H. Dave, the institute’s founder, as a registered charitable trust with registration number Kaira F-124, inspired by his Guru.
The college was given approval to offer a four-year, full-time D.H.M.S. program that is accredited by CCH, New Delhi and associated with the Gujarat government. Since 1992, the college has offered a 51/2-year B.H.M.S. programme with 127 seats intake, and it has been affiliated with Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar.To add icing to the cake, in July 2000 the institute became the first in Gujarat to offer postgraduate courses in Materia Medica, Organon & Homoeopathic Philosophy & Repertory. Think of this as a compliment from CCH to our persistent, real, and unwavering efforts to improve the homoeopathic system in Gujarat.
Accommodation:
A substantial collection of works on homoeopathy and related medical topics is kept in the college library. The journals, magazines, newspapers, and periodicals in the library are well-stocked. The college offers lecture halls, seminar halls, sports facilities, conference halls, canteens, well-equipped classrooms, and medical services. Boys’ and girls’ separate accommodations are offered in a hostel.
