About College
Established in 1988–1989, Dapoli Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Ratnagiri is located on a 50-acre plot of land in the isolated village of Apti, Post. Talsure of Dapoli Taluka in the District of Ratnagiri, Maharashtra State. With 50 places available each year, the college is associated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, which is situated in Maharashtra.
The eleven thousand square foot campus of the college is made up of three buildings that are fully equipped with laboratories, a dissection hall, classrooms, an administrative block, a principal’s cabin, a library, a reading room, a gymkhana, a common area for girls, and restrooms. Additionally, we have an entirely furnished auditorium that can hold 200–500 pupils both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, the college has a dorm on site for its own residents.
The hospital features a separate administrative building, physiotherapy unit, yoga room, ophthalmic unit, clinical laboratory, and X-ray room. The connected hospital has 25 beds and separate wards for men and women. It also has a fully operational operating room, labor room, and nursing care.
Due to its location in a remote, hilly terrain, the institute has set up a common cafeteria for staff, students, and patients. Here, patients can receive subsidized snacks, food, and mess facilities, along with hospital workers and other staff members.
The affiliated hospital has its own ambulance service to transport critical patients to Super Speciality Hospitals in Dapoli, Pune, Mumbai, Miraj, and other locations as needed.
