ZVM Unani Medical College & Hospital

The Z. V. M. Unani Medical College & Hospital was founded in 1984 by the Maharashtra Medical Education & Research Center, Pune, with the goal of enhancing educational standards by offering professional education to the minority community. The Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, has certified the Z.V.M. Unani Medical College & Hospital in Pune, and the government of Maharashtra has acknowledged it. It is also associated with the University of Pune and the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, both in Nashik.This college is aided and can accept up to 60 students. The College also offers postgraduate courses in four areas: general medicine (Moalejat); preventive and social medicine (Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib); obstetrics and gynecology (Ilmul Qabalat wa Amraz-e-Niswa); and surgery (Ilmul Jarahat); each area has a seat capacity of two and three, respectively. The college is located in the center of Pune’s eastern Cantonment neighborhood. On one end, it is connected to M.G. Road, and on the other, to Shankershet Road.
