Associated with Uttarakhand Ayurved University and approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, Uttaranchal Unani Medical College and Hospital (UUMCH) is a renowned minority school offering courses in Unani medicine and surgery. As required by the C.C.I.M., it teaches the B.U.M.S. and Kamil-e-Tib-o-Jarahat courses. Students from all across the nation attend Uttaranchal Unani Medical College and Hospital because it is open to everyone, regardless of caste, creed, gender, or color.
The college offers a five and a half year Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) degree program in homoeopathy. The BUMS curriculum will last approximately four and a half years, with an obligatory internship of one year. There are sixty seats available for BUMS in total.
Founded in Uttaranchal, the Hasnu Ahmad Memorial Educational & Charitable Society (Registered) is in charge of the college and hospital. The aforementioned council is the owner of all movable and immovable property owned by Uttaranchal Unani Medical College and Hospital as well as that of its component departments, including the Hospital. The National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions of the Government of India has granted Uttaranchal Unani Medical College & Hospital, a renowned minority institution, minority status.

Haridwar is 200 kilometers from Delhi on the Delhi Laksar-Haridwar Road in the northwest region of Uttarakhand. Haridwar is a railway station that is conveniently located among roads and railroads.
